Ministry shapes how we lead, but it can also quietly shape who we are.

Many clergy find themselves leading from the outside in: managing the expectations of others, measuring their worth by the size of the budget, people in the pews, and struggling to distinguish their own voice from the roles they fill.

Restore Clergy's programs are designed to give you a path forward in ministry that is life giving, sustainable, and replicable.

What we offer:

  • Wellness Insights

Explore the concepts. Learn what happens when ministry takes over and how to move toward restoration. Accessible, topic-focused continuing education sessions that increase insight and help you better understand the impact of ministry on you wellbeing.

  • Leading from Abundance

Begin the shift. A focused 5-week virtual experience for clergy ready to move from scarcity and overextension to a life lived from abundance. Identify how to lead from your God-given giftedness and shift your ministry to support your calling rather that deplete your energy.

  • Restoration Fellowship

A Deep Dive. Our signature year-long hybrid program that guides clergy through sustained personal and leadership transformation. It gives them a path forward in ministry that is life giving, sustainable, and replicable.

What makes our method unique?

Our founder combined Internal Family Systems model (an evidence based approach to therapy and coaching), with the Immunity to Change framework (an adult development framework that addresses the difficulty of lasting and sustainable change) and ancient Christian practices into programs that provide hope, insight, community, and relief. Pastors can partake in Sabbath moments that inform by attending Wellness Insights, engage in a deeper practice through Leading From Abundance, or take the plunge on a path to lasting transformation and growth in our Restoration Fellowship.

Meet your Facilitator:

As ordained clergy, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, and Coach, Rev. Kinsie M. Tate, LPCC, founded Restore Clergy to provide wellness options for clergy struggling with burnout.

Kinsie has over 15 years of experience as a licensed counselor and served as clergy in a local church prior to becoming a therapist. She is the spouse of United Methodist Clergy and understands the unique challenges pastors and their families face.

Restore Clergy grew out of the struggle she witnessed pastors experiencing prior to and during the pandemic and her own experience of burnout. She understands ministry from the inside out and provides an authentic space for clergy to take off the pastor hat and be who God created them to be.
